Evil genius’ Trump will be ‘last president of US’ filmmaker Michael Moore warns

Moore released the footage Thursday, six weeks before the documentary hits theaters on September 21.

Based on the trailer, the Oscar-winning Moore will tackle everything from the Parkland, Florida, school shooting, gun ownership, and the rise of young gun-control activists David Hogg and Emma Gonzalez to the ongoing water crisis in his hometown of Flint, Michigan, and those standing opposed to Trump. It's in theaters September 21.

"Can't take the insanity anymore?" the trailer reads before footage from Trump rallies and the Charlottesville protests past year. "This is the movie that will end the madness".

The "Fahrenheit 11/9" footage also shows Moore speaking to David Hogg, the activist student who survived the Stoneman Douglas High School shooting on February 14, 2018, and progressive Democratic Congressional candidate Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, who won a stunning victory in the primary earlier this summer.

"Our media has no idea what it is up against, he said". This puts us all in grave danger.

In his conclusion, Trump indicated to the news outlet that another of the film's underlying messages will be that it will organized action, not hope, that will be crucial in defeating Trump.

"If nothing else, I hope this film exposes that grave danger and shows people the way out", he added.

Moore's "Fahrenheit 9/11" explored the presidency of George W. Bush and the War on Terror.

Other films joining TIFF's 2018 documentary lineup include Rashida Jones' Quincy, a non-fiction chronicle of her father's life, Tom Donahue's Geena Davis-produced This Changes Everything, which examines the gender dynamics in Hollywood after in the wake of the #MeToo movement, and Mark Cousins' Women Make Film: A New Road Movie Through Cinema, a Tilda Swinton-narrated exploration of cinema in the hands of female directors.

There's even a moment where Moore decides to spray down a governor's home with contaminated water from Flint, Michigan, which is now over 1,300 days without clean water.

"The majority of Americans agree with me on the issues", Moore told HuffPost.
