An increasing heat dome of high pressure is responsible for trapping the tropical storm off the North Carolina coast, according to The Weather Channel.

Meanwhile, the remnants of Tropical Storm Beryl have brought heavy rainfall and strong winds to the northeastern Caribbean Sea and the northern Leeward Islands.

Según Tusk, este problema "está lejos de resolverse con o sin Davis ya que la idea del Brexit no se acaba con Davis ". Sin embargo, el asunto de estas renuncias se ha dado en contexto del consenso que Theresa May logró en el gobierno.

Forecasters say the storm's remnants are expected to produce 2 to 3 inches (5 to 8 centimeters) of rain, with up to 5 inches (13 centimeters) in isolated areas.

Memories of Hurricane Maria haunted many along Puerto Rico's southeast coast, where La Favorita grocery store in Humacao had been swamped in 5 feet of saltwater, mud and seaweed.

The National Hurricane Center in Miami said Sunday that the storm was likely to strengthen. The weather is said to strongly resemble powerful winter storm-like conditions accompanied by heavy rains and strong winds. A NE motion is forecast to begin late Tuesday, and Chris is forecast to accelerate NE on Wednesday and Thursday.

The hurricane center said Beryls remnant had maximum sustained winds of 40 miles per hour (65 kph) late Sunday and was moving west-northwestward at 26 miles per hour (43 kph).

Chris, as a tropical storm and hurricane, is not expected to impact the United States. The storm is forecast to reach hurricane strength and move northeast beginning Tuesday. Not much of a seabreeze expected for the coastline tomorrow, but the South Coast and Cape will benefit from a light SW wind - keeping things cooler there.
