Facebook-owned WhatsApp has finally released the Android beta 2.18.109 update which will resolve the issue of a Day bug. The report claims that all the media files are fully encrypted so there's nothing to worry even if the chat app doesn't delete them from its servers. According to WABetaInfo, the Twitter account that tracks changes in WhatsApp's beta builds, the company is rolling out a new feature for Android that will enable users to again download media files that they may have accidentally deleted. The report adds that this feature shows that WhatsApp stores the sent media in its servers. This feature rolled out incrementally to all users, Whatsapp is adding more features, functionality to Whatsapp payments with new updates. Previously, when you received an image, GIF, video, document or voice message sent on WhatsApp and deleted the file in the WhatsApp folder, then users couldn't download it again, reported Gizbot. Due to this protocol, if the users deleted the media content on their phone, they could not retrieve them back ever again.

As of now, a handful of users have noticed the new feature and using the same, they are able to make and receive payments from their family and friends. However, as per some sources, Whatsapp is now not allowing media files that are too old to be downloaded again. It has chose to store all the messages and multimedia content on its server even if it is downloaded by the user. When a media file is downloaded successfully, the app does not delete it from the server.
