Manchester United Show Their Class By Doing THIS After City's Title Win

Jose Mourinho has told Paul Pogba to "pull up his socks" in training to realise his potential at Manchester United.

"We couldn't play fast, we couldn't think fast, everything was complicated", he said.

They gave a superb response with a swaggering win at fourth placed Tottenham. "It was the only way they could score a goal which is from a corner or a free-kick".

There are five matchdays left for the 2017-18 Premier League season to be over, and City have dominated the title race, scoring a total of 93 goals and losing only twice so far.

Mourinho feels that the Citizens fully deserve their crown and that it was always going to happen at some point.

When United appointed Mourinho they knew exactly what they were getting- a brand of defensive, but effective style of football which he used to great effect at Chelsea (in both his spells) and Porto.

The Portuguese manager also suggested that his side had become complacent after their dramatic comeback win over Pep Guardiola's men last week. After Paul Pogba drew a comfortable save out of Foster with a tame strike from distance on seven minutes, the visitors created two good chances. "I knew that sooner or later that would be and if I was in that position I would be very upset if someone said they won the title because Manchester United lost", he said.

It's the third Premier League success for the club after the titles won in 2012 under Roberto Mancini and 2014 under Manuel Pellegrini with captain Vincent Kompany, David Silva, Sergio Aguero and Yaya Toure involved in all of them.

Harden took over after that, scoring the last six points of the quarter to leave Houston up 76-72 entering the fourth. James Harden scored only 10 points in the January game, but he was returning from missing seven games with an injury.

"It is time for them to speak about themselves, not for me". United's poor performance in front of their fans was in stark opposite to the last weekend's win at the Etihad.

And Mourinho, speaking after the game, insisted he was making no excuses and noted that Man City were deserved champions.

But City, who will stage a title party when they host Swansea on Sunday, have a chance to underline their credentials over their last five matches.

"If we focus all of our energy into the next match, I'm sure it'll look after itself".

United had just achieved what many deemed impossible, winning the Premier League, FA Cup and European Cup treble. I believe in myself.

"You win titles with consistency at every level, not just the performance level but the mental level and the day by day".

The France worldwide has found himself under the spotlight for much of the campaign after seemingly failing to produce consistent performances for Mourinho's men.
