Joseph Parker features in a spine-tingling television promotion for his world heavyweight unification fight against Anthony Joshua. "Anthony Joshua's making a grave mistake, if he's looking past Parker".

The victor of the fight in Cardiff's Principality Stadium will not only hold four titles but also keep their unbeaten record intact as a meeting with World Boxing Council (WBC) heavyweight champion Wilder will ideally be next in line.

In one image, shot by Sky Sports UK, Parker is super-imposed with a Maori warrior with a traditional moko, an attempt one presumes, to show that the Auckland-born Samoan will be representing New Zealand in Cardiff on April 1 NZT.

"He got off the canvas to knock out former long-reigning heavyweight champion Wladimir Klitschko in 2017, and nearly had his nose split in half when Carlos Takam head-butted him in his most recent outing last October".

Joshua acknowledged the criticism of the standard of opponents he has faced until now, with Parker one of the few major hurdles standing in the way of his hopes of becoming undisputed champion of the world.

Emre Can transfer to Juventus hits major snag for two reasons
It's with a mix of confidence and mistrust that the Turin media has been following the Emre Can saga every day. That would certainly be a big blow for Juve, who would see Can escaping from their hands.

Joshua drew comparisons between himself and 26-year-old Parker given their similar backgrounds - respecting his rival's rise to the top. With talks and reports on a potential fight being negotiated between the duo, Parker's promoter David Higgins feels "AJ" is underestimating his fighter and should do so only at his own risk.

"He is firing on all cylinders". Everything is on song, the combinations are being put together.

"This talk of Joe being overawed about being in the United Kingdom with 80,000, that doesn't worry him at all".

But much of the build-up has focused on the prospect of Joshua colliding with WBC champion Deontay Wilder in a blockbuster battle to unify the division later this year.

Anthony Joshua - who works with Under Armour as his official footwear, training and apparel partner - steps inside the ring to face Joseph Parker on March 31st.
