Pacers rally to beat Cavaliers

The Pacers are a fascinating team this season.

Golden State is on the second night of a back-to-back to begin a hard five-game road trip. Raptors All-Star Kyle Lowry has been out with a tailbone injury and is listed as day-to-day after taking a nasty fall during a game against the Nets that has caused him to miss two games. But this could finally be the year where he makes more 3s than 2s: Right now, he's made 116 3-pointers, 130 2-pointers.

Sitting out the fourth quarter, James led the Cavs with 26 points, going 9-of-16 from the field, with three rebounds and an assist.

Pacers: Sabonis had 12 points and 15 rebounds.

One look at the Eastern Conference standings and it shows the Kyrie Irving-led Boston Celtics in the top spot, with the Toronto Raptors checking in at No. 2 and the struggling Cleveland Cavaliers even further back, closer to the fourth spot than anyone could have anticipated.Still, this is the National Basketball Association.

They're a very respectable 10-10 on the road, but need to figure things out at home.

Whatever the reason, the Cavs were inconsistently consistent. But given the team's recent struggles, it may be time for a change. Reserve Fred VanVleet led Toronto with 22 points off the bench. Serge Ibaka is the third double-digit scorer and Jonas Valanciunas is grabbing eight rebounds.

Los heridos graves fueron trasladados a hospitales cercanos con la ayuda de un helicóptero de la Policía Militar. "La situación allí es muy triste".

"The guys did a great job, " said DeRozan, who scored 13 points with eight assists and three rebounds.

The Over/Under (O/U) for the game opened at 223 points with Cleveland set as a 1.5-point favorite.

After back-to-back blowouts suffered at the hands of the Minnesota Timberwolves and Toronto Raptors, the Cavs came out with a sense of urgency and took a huge first quarter lead and dominated throughout the entire first half. Nope. He had four points in 25 minutes on Thursday night.

The Clippers, who lost DeAndre Jordan to a sprained left ankle in the second quarter, won their third straight over the Kings this season and their 11th in a row at Sacramento. In the first quarter he was 0-for-6, making him 2-for-18 in that period in his four games, including 0-for-8 on 3-pointers. James was asked about players having different agendas, which coach Tyronn Lue spoke of in his postgame interview, which brought up question of possible locker room issues.

"That was probably one of the best passes I've ever seen", Thaddeus Young, who was guarding James on the final play, said after the game. His 7.7 free-throw attempts per game are tied for sixth in the league; DeRozan gets to the line more often than ball-dominant foul magnets like LeBron, Russell Westbrook and Kevin Durant.

And we can't mention Stephenson and James without throwing it back to Game 5 of the 2014 Eastern Conference finals when Stephenson blew in James' ear.
