The "Mean Girls" star - who was recently linked to bodybuilder Je-yong Ha - has revealed she is now single and she doesn't see that changing in the immediate future because of her nomadic lifestyle. "We need the whole cast back!" she said.

"I know where his desk is", she teased, revealing that she is "trying" to get a Mean Girls 2 in the works.

The star was in New York City on Wednesday for the Daily Mail's holiday party, and she had lots to say on the red carpet about wanting a theater follow-up to the now-legendary 2004 film.

The actress said: 'I'm thinking she's been living in Africa and adopts children, very Madonna'. "We had so much fun making it. Mark Waters is such a great director, Tina Fey is an unbelievable writer, Paramount was great to work with - we all had a blast". Even Tina Fey might be on board.

"I don't really know much about it", she said.

Jimmy tweeted, "Very thankful to Chris @PrattPrattPratt for filling in for me tonight with guests @MargotRobbie & @ChrisStapleton".

But until "Mean Girls 2" happens, if it happens, Lohan told E!

"That is what will make you truly happy".

Despite once being one of the most sought-after actresses in Hollywood, Lindsay now lives in Dubai, and she doesn't envision moving back to the United States anytime in the near future. "I'm here in NY, so [the film's screenwriter] Tina Fey better be hiding", she jokingly warned, "or I'm going to find her and [the film's producer] Lorne Michaels".

Lindsay enjoys living a low-key existence in the Middle East, where she's able to escape the pressures she would face at home. "And I don't have to always be scrutinized every second, so I can have a private life and have a public life, but when I choose to". "And at the time, I was like, 'They should just let it be what it is!'"
