When a local billionaire disappears, Aza and her friend Daisy set out to find the missing man.

Fox was seen as the top contender even as bidding on rights intensified in recent weeks.

Released in 2014, "The Fault in Our Stars" was a smash for Fox, racking up $307.2 million globally and turning Shailene Woodley and Ansel Elgort into major stars.

Emmanuel Macron looks to boost security, economic co-operation between France and Algeria
Macron said he was "not a hostage of the past" and wanted to "turn towards our future together". With a few symbolic gestures, the French president tried to demonstrate his good will.

What the full synopsis only hints at is the fact that "Turtles All the Way Down" features a protagonist with obsessive-compulsive disorder, which is something drawn from Green's personal experiences: "This is my first attempt to write directly about the kind of mental illness that has affected my life since childhood, so while the story is fictional, it is also quite personal". It was adapted from another Green novel, but failed to match "Fault's" commercial success, grossing $85.5 million. "It doesn't mean there will definitely be a movie, but it means that there might be one", Green said in the video.

Along with the invitation to "begin inundating me with cast suggestions", Green closed the video with an earnest appeal to his fans. The film will be overseen by Temple Hill, which oversaw The Fault in Our Stars, with Isaac Klausner and Marty Bowen.

In the announcement, Green said the story "isn't the sort of thing that usually lends itself to film" before revealing that he's been in discussions with his previous collaborators for the past two months to figure out whether the adaptation could actually happen. The project will come out of Fox 2000, with Erin Siminoff and Molly Saffron handling the picture for the division.
