Eve Replaces Aisha Tyler on 'The Talk'

The Grammy-winning music star made her debut as a permanent co-host on the daytime series Tuesday.

Eve previously served as a guest co-host the week of October 30 and posted photos from the stint on Instagram, saying it was a fun week. Unlike its counterpart, "The View" which sees hosts change regularly, the panel has remained relatively similar for years with hosts Julie Chen, Sara Gilbert, Sharon Osbourne and Sheryl Underwood.

Though the 39-year-old Pennsylvania native now resides in London with her husband, British entrepreneur Maximillion Copper, and her four stepchildren, the decision to join the Daytime Emmy Award-winning talk show was simple.

Curtis Samuel to miss rest of season
Now, with Samuel out for the season, the Panthers have to turn to others to inject that much-needed speed. Just when Curtis Samuel's rookie season was starting to take off, it's been cut short.

The Grammy-winner replaces Aisha Tyler who stepped down from the show to focus more on her other projects. Eve also acted in the "Barbershop" feature film franchise as well as starring in her own self-titled sitcom for the defunct UPN in 2003-06.

"It is a new career move for me", Eve tells Variety.

"I will say this, I've been working in television a long time and I'm an avid TV watcher". She also does a voice on the FX comedy "Archer". "I'm kind of quiet on social media, so this is a fun way for me to be expressive and show people who I am right now". "I'm always interested in unique and fun parts", Eve reveals.
